Canada played an international friendly last night in Seattle before 50,000 people and acquitted themselves well. The third goal was a nightmare allowed to an opportunistic Robinho but the same DeGuzman who made the ill advised pass also scored a dandy from distance. We'll see if this helps Canada in Concacaf qualifying? Not bad for now.

I was at this game and Canada impressed the hell outta me. Beautiful, technically accurate play that was fun and pretty to watch!
My heart breaks for deGuzman. He had a wonderful game other than that horrible backpass. Let's hope that's not what he's remembered for!
Thanks for the reply Laurie. In Canada there is this idea that Dale Mitchell will snuff the life out of small ball and force Canada to be a long ball country again.(Dale isnt regarded as a tactical heavy weight)Reading your comments about Canada's positive play is encouraging. Thanks for the feedback.
