Woeful is all that comes to mind

I knew it would be tough.But by age or by lack of fire in our belly or Lippi forgot how to coach, Italy have simply been awful in this Confederations cup. I doubt Lippi forgot how to coach.So lets not engage that confused thinking.Instead it could be as simple as lacking a fire combined with old age. I am going to read all the Italian dailies and get a sense of what is really wrong. One thing is certain we are a mere shell of our former selves and fortunately today's crushing loss means our aging side can no longer be ignored.Something has to be done. If anyone can get it right its Lippi.
